Hello!
Welcome to my photography website. My name is Heather, and I am an avid photographer of nature, people, architecture, and pretty much anything that catches my eye. I love finding creative angles and unique subjects to incorporate into my photos.
I am also available for portrait/family photography in the Vacaville, California area and surrounding communities.

My Story
I received my first camera, an old Olympus film camera and a castoff from my older brother, for my 10th birthday.
I was thrilled at the thought of owning my own camera, and my mind was filled with all the wonderful things
I would capture on it.
That same day my family visited the zoo on a special birthday trip, and I had the time of my life snapping photos of all the animals and anything else that caught my eye. Being the extreme amateur that I was, and also possessing a keen sense of curiosity, I soon proceeded to open the cover to the film to discover what exactly film inside a camera looked like. My dad quickly explained to me, a little late, what I had just done, to my beloved pictures.
That was a lesson I was never to forget.
Minutes later, I lost my grip on my precious camera, and it sustained a fall that cracked a corner and lost a few pieces from the camera. Needless to say, at the end of that day, I was crushed about my first experience with my own camera.
However, I was not daunted in the least. Since that day, a love for cameras and photography has only grown inside of me, and I've gradually upgraded my cameras over the years alongside my growing passion for photography.
I currently shoot with a Sony A3000.
